About Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is a treatment which enhances the body’s natural healing process by inhaling 100%oxygen in a total body chamber, while atmospheric pressure is increased and controlled. It is used for a wide variety of treatments to help aid and speed up the bodies own ability to heal itself faster and aid in immunity. Hundreds of studies are coming out yearly proving the momentous effects of oxygen therapy on a myriad of disease and health issues.

As I studied the use of hyperbaric therapy for my husbands cancer, I quickly learned that not only should he benefit from this incredible therapy but so should everyone else. From certain cancers to wound healing to the common cold and flu to pneumonia, traumatic brain injuries, autism and fatigue, hyperbaric oxygen therapy has shown in many studies to help with these issues.

  4. Decreased white cell adherence to capillary walls.
  5. Vasoconstriction in normal blood vessels.
