Juanique became a massage therapist in 2008 in order to fulfill her lifelong passion for helping people optimize their health. She stood out as a naturally gifted and highly dedicated therapist from the beginning of her training. From 2009-2011 she deepened her practice and developed Neurostructural Massage Therapy–a highly effective and extremely rare form of massage that effectively addresses muscle pain at its core.
Juanique’s methods are adaptive and well-suited to all manner of health needs, from sports injury, to trauma and anxiety reduction, to performance enhancement.
In 2015 Juanique began studying disease and nutrition and broadening her skill base in the health world. Her efforts increased exponentially in 2016 when her husband was diagnosed with stage IV cancer. She has become extremely knowledgeable in all manner of health-related subjects and is currently pursuing a nutrition certificate.
Juanique has continued practicing and developing her skills for almost a decade, which is nearly unheard of in the massage therapy world. Her passion for learning and helping others continues to energize her and is a large part of why her clients are so endeared to her. She is an extremely valuable member of the Provo Health team, both as its founding team member and as its creative leader.
